Rival Schools had the great please to work with Warner Brothers and J. Micheal Straczynski to concept and produce a title sequence for the epic sci-fi series Babylon 5, The Lost Tales. The concept was to portray the cultures of the various species in an archival way, as though digitally ‘painted’ onto the screen. To achieve the look, we created motion graphics, 3D elements and digital matte paintings, then combined them for the animation. Most importantly, the project was extremely well received by B5 fans.
