Kellogg’s is one of the world’s leading producers of convenience foods, including cereal, cookies, crackers, toaster pastries, cereal bars, frozen waffles, and meat alternatives. They wanted to ‘rock’ their promotion for Mini Swirls cereal.
A Rocking Idea
The project objective was to create a Guitar Hero-esque casual game. We got right to work, handling interface, character, and in-game sound effects, as well as all Flash ActionScript associated with the project.
Four games were created, each with original visuals and corresponding music tracks (Rock, Metal, Indie and Pop-Punk).
BYOK (Bring Your Own Keyboard)
The promotion was available online and offline, through CD-ROM. Kids in Germany were turning their PCs into full on concert machines and parents were happy the didn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy game systems and peripherals.
